Virginia Aldridge (born September 1, 1938) wrote the episode "The Lesson" in Season 1 of Dallas.

In the 1960's Aldridge had acted in Hollywood, appearing on such TV shows as Star Trek, and TV westerns such as Cheyenne, Wagon Train, and The Rifleman. She also had supporting roles in the 1959 films High School Big Shot and Riot in Juvenile Prison. She can also be seen in the classic 1967 family film The Gnome-Mobile.

Virginia then went on to become a writer for such popular series as Dallas, Fame, Knight Rider, and Beauty and the Beast.
