Gail Gilchriest (born January 25, 1960) wrote five episodes of the TNT series Dallas; "The Enemy of My Enemy", "Blame Game", "A Call to Arms", and "Boxed In". She also served as the executive story editor for nine episodes of the show.

Gail graduated from Silsbee High School. Received her Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas in Austin. Spent five years as a columnist with The Houston Post.

In 1996, Gail wrote the story for the A&E Biography documentary of late Hollywood actor Tyrone Power. She also wrote the screenplay for the 2000 film My Dog Skip, as well as for the 2001 television movie 'The Ponder Heart.
