About the Warden[]

When J.R., who's looking for an old buddy of Jock's and former fellow wildcatter Blackie Callahan, he meets up with his daughter Meg, who now runs Blackie's company, Callahan Oil, he must go to a low-security prison to bail him out of jail to get his help, but first had to persuade the irasible Blackie, who must have got in some brawl or disturbance that got him in the pokie in the first place, to leave as the warden, Warden Beckman laughs and says that no one ever stays there at the prison more than a month or two - execpt for Blackie, as he says that Blackie "likes it here", and would always do something, such as throwing a brick through a window in order to extend his stay there. He allows J.R. to post Blackie's bail, on the promise that Blackie doesn't ever return there!
