David Marshall Grant (born June 21, 1955) appears as a young Digger Barnes in the 1986 CBS-TV movie Dallas:The Early Years. He has co-starred in films French Postcards (1979), American Flyers (1985), Bat*21 with Gene Hackman and Danny Glover, Air America with Mel Gibson (1990), Citizen Cohn (1992), where he portrayed Robert F. Kennedy, and The Devil Wears Prada (2006). In 2004, he played a gay husband in the big screen remake of the 1975 NBC-TV movie The Stepford Wives. His most recent television appearance was in May 2009. in an episode of the Starz! TV series Party Down.
On the stage, Grant is most notable for his portrayal of Joe Pitt in the first Broadway production of Tony Kushner's Angels in America. The role earned him a 1994 Tony Award nomination as Best Actor (Featured Role – Play).
